Meet The Founder

Maddi Kempf-Stoltman is a barrel racer and YouTube creator. See what she has to say about starting shanbehshad, and what it means to her.

"I knew for a long time I wanted to create some kind of clothing and product line. The idea was there, but I was struggling with bringing it to life. I knew I wanted it to represent something thats important to me, and offer some inspiration to other people. Cool clothes are great, but products with a strong meaning are even better. I had a dream one night, and in my dream my product logo was the same as a tattoo I have on my finger. I woke up from that dream and KNEW I had discovered what I was going to do! And shanbehshad was born. The tattoo in my dream is of two stacked triangles. To me, those triangles were the perfect visual representation of the concept that 'when you hit rock bottom, there's nowhere to go but up'. We all hit rock bottom or fall upon hard times, but what you do in those life changing moments is what defines who you are as a human being. shanbehshad was my reminder that in those moments, you can stay down, and let life take its toll. Or you can shanbehshad, be better, and be stronger because of the cards you were dealt."
